Chief Relations Officer
The Chief Relations Officer (CRO) is responsible for managing and enhancing the fund’s external and internal relationships. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Price SMIF and its stakeholders, including alumni, industry professionals, faculty advisors, and prospective donors. The CRO will lead outreach initiatives, coordinate networking events, and oversee communications to promote the fund’s visibility and impact. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate professionalism in stakeholder engagement, and have a strong understanding of branding and relationship management within a financial context.

Student Requirements

Be a current Bachelor of Commerce student in the Asper School of Business.

Register for courses as a full time or part time student during the Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and Fall 2026 semesters.

Have a minimum of 60 credit hours completed at the time of application.

Have a minimum GPA of 3.50.

Have completed the following courses with a minimum grade of B+:

FIN 2010 – Introduction to Finance + completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) Course

One additional finance course of your choosing

Enroll and successfully complete FIN 4230 in the Winter 2025 semester.
Skills Required
Experience working with Wix, Canva, social media platforms, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including alumni, industry professionals, and faculty advisors.

Develop and maintain strategic relationships to support the fund’s visibility, growth, and long-term success.

Lead outreach initiatives such as networking events, speaker engagements, and partnership development.

Oversee the creation and distribution of social media content, and promotional materials.

Collaborate with the executive team to align communication strategies with the fund’s investment and operational goals.

Manage the fund’s brand presence across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn and Wix, ensuring consistency and professionalism.

Plan the Annual General Meeting in May

Support recruitment efforts.
